In the Beginning

CommerNet, a privately held company, founded in 1997 by partners Zhonggang Li, Sean Lin and Charlie Li. Their successful development and marketing of flychina.com (online reservations and ticketing service between China and the USA) has brought the Portal to be the largest of its kind with over 40,000 page views daily and strategic relations with Sina.com (NASDAQ:SINA) and Chinese.com.

The Current

The XML-based proprietary software that CommerNet started developing in 1997 has now evolved into world-class marketplace and content management infrastructure solutions. Infrastructure software is offered in a variety of application service provider packages with customization to maintain the customer's brand.

In addition to state-of-the-art software, CommerNet's popular "Partnership" model provides organizations with a turnkey solution that not only creates the Portal, but also provides for full support services and advertising sales. With minimal investment and administration requirements, a trade publication or association that partners with CommerNet will be generating revenue and providing valuable member services within weeks.

CommerNet headquarters are in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with an affiliated office in Shanghai, China. Over 80 employees company wide contribute to the development of software and service of customers.
