Dr.
Charlie Li was the chief technical architect and developer
at the startup of CyberGate, now the largest ISP in the Southeast
and launched the commercial service during the earlier years
of the Internet. He was also project leader on computer performance
projects while working at IBM.
Dr. Li
was a professor of Engineering and Science at Florida Atlantic
University lecturing in neural computing, artificial intelligence
and stochastics.
In 1997
he founded FlyChina, Incorporated, one of the first travel
Portals to bring automation to the Web. FlyChina is the leading
travel Portal for US to China air travel and has a strategic
partnership with Sina.com,
the largest Chinese Web Portal.
Dr. Li
earned his Ph.D. and Masters in Engineering from Florida Atlantic
University.
